Oral Sedation

Oral sedation is as simple as taking a specially prescribed tablet 1-2 hours before your appointment and getting your dentistry done in the chair pain-free and with no stress. While oral sedation does not put you to sleep, it does take away all your worries by putting you into a calm and very relaxed state of mind. Because of how powerful our oral sedatives are it will be necessary for you to be accompanied to and from your treatment by a spouse, family member, or close friend. And because of the strong effects on the brain, it is important to take the rest of the day easy – no driving or important decision making. IV Sedation
Wanting to get your dentistry done asleep? We offer full intravenous (IV) sedation which means you can relax and fall into a light sleep, waking up to the smile transformation of your dreams. Whether it be simple fillings or complex full mouth rehabilitations, IV sedation is an excellent option. As a patient of Studio Smiles you will be eligible to get your dentistry done in-house with our trained dental anesthesiologist by your side – no need to go to hospital!
