Missing teeth may lead to changes in your bite.
Dental anxiety is very common, but we’re here to change that. Many patients have anxieties around their dental visits, whether it be due to a bad past experience or a fear of pain. Sadly, this has prevented many from attaining the smile they’ve always wanted. That’s why at Studio Smiles we’ve handcrafted our patient experience to maximise your comfort and address your fears. Your comfort is our number one priority, and it is our team’s mission to ensure you are looked after at every step of the journey.
Studio Smiles was built from the ground-up to help patients like you overcome their dental anxiety and achieve the smile of their dreams. From the warm and inviting décor which says ‘spa’ more than it does ‘dental clinic’, through to the small touches – calming essential oils, noise-cancelling headphones, and Netflix TVs.
We also know how important transparency is to put your mind at ease. That’s why we have a policy of transparency on those topics that matter – treatment options, expected results, risks, and costs. We take consent seriously, and make sure you are fully always informed so there are never any surprises.
For those who are particularly dental phobic, we also commonly do treatments under oral or IV sedation. Ready to take the first step to getting the teeth and smile you’ve always wanted? Get treated with comfort and care. Book an appointment today.

Dental anxiety is the fear of being in a dental environment. Often this fear can cause dental avoidance, resulting in delaying necessary dental treatment. At Studio Smiles, we’ll do everything we can to ensure you feel comfortable and completely at ease. We have a team of highly qualified dentists for nervous patients, to make sure you have an easy, frictionless experience.
Many factors contribute to dental anxiety.
We know how hard this can make attending the dentist. We’ve helped thousands of patients in similar situations overcome these anxieties and change their view on dentistry. At Studio Smiles we take the time to get to know you and accommodate your fears to give you the best possible experience. In fact, many of our anxious patients end up being some of the most comfortable and committed at the end of their smile journey with us. Get treated with comfort and care. Book an appointment today.
Dental anxiety causes people to avoid the dentist, sometimes for years. This means that any undiagnosed conditions may be left unmanaged, silently worsening in the background. The result is a deterioration of any dental disease present, making the eventual treatment potentially more complex and costly.
Highly trained team
Our team has dedicated training on dental anxiety – we understand the importance of listening, treating patients with care and gentleness, and taking the time to get to know you. We adjust our approach for your comfort. Step-by-step we’ve now helped thousands of patients conquer their dental fears and get the treatment that they need. Our anxious patients are often surprised by just how comfortable and pain-free dentistry can be in the right hands.
One way we help patients curb dental anxiety is with our in-house, cutting-edge technology. We’ve heavily invested in a wide range of technologies and sedation options to make sure that your treatments are pain-free and you feel completely at ease. Our patients also have the choice of listening to music, or watching their favourite Netflix show during their appointment. With noise cancelling headphones, you’ll be able to sit back and focus on the screen right above you. We often hear our patients having a snooze while we work on their teeth – which we take as a compliment knowing this means they feel completely comfortable in our hands.
Before performing any treatments, we make it a priority to have you understand all the important parts – what’s involved, the costs, the risks, and the expected results. We’ll never start any procedure until we’ve fully explained everything and you’ve given us the go-ahead. Our patients are always kept in the loop, so they never have to worry about unexpected surprises. Feel comfortable knowing our service is 100% transparent.
We encourage all patients to attend with a friend, partner, or family member for support. Having someone you know by your side can really help put you at ease and give you the confidence to start your smile journey.
Depending on the individual, a person’s dental anxiety may show in many ways.

For those patients that need a little extra help overcoming their dental anxieties, we offer both oral and IV sedation.
Think of this like taking a ‘sleeping’ pill. Oral sedation is as simple as taking a specially prescribed tablet 1-2 hours before your appointment and getting your dentistry done in the chair pain-free and with no stress. While oral sedation does not put you to sleep, it does take away all your worries by putting you into a calm and very relaxed state of mind. Because of how powerful our oral sedatives are it will be necessary for you to be accompanied to and from your treatment by a spouse, family member, or close friend. And because of the strong effects on the brain, it is important to take the rest of the day easy – no driving or important decision making. Ask us about oral sedation when booking your appointment online or over the phone.
Wanting to get your dentistry done asleep? We offer full intravenous (IV) sedation which means you can relax and fall into a light sleep, waking up to the smile transformation of your dreams. Whether it be simple fillings or complex full mouth rehabilitations, IV sedation is an excellent option. As a patient of Studio Smiles you will be eligible to get your dentistry done in-house with our trained dental anesthesiologist by your side – no need to go to hospital! Our facility has been purpose-built to provide you with this service in the dental chair all under the one roof.
At Studio Smiles, we take pride in our transparent approach to treatment. We endeavour to make the entire process clear for you so that you understand exactly what is happening, what can be done, the likely outcomes, and all relevant costs. We believe in a thorough approach, so our patients stress less and feel better faster. Get treated with comfort and care. Book an appointment today.
Costs will vary depending on the individual and the treatment necessary. We believe in a transparent approach, so we make it a rule to provide all relevant treatment options and costs, including the advantages and disadvantages where relevant. This is an important part of our informed consent process. We actively work with our patients to help them find a way to have dentistry fit in with their budget and life. Patients may choose to opt for one of our interest-free payment plans to have their broken tooth sorted out immediately, while having the flexibility to pay at a later date on their own terms. Payment plans can help alleviate the financial barriers to a healthy mouth. We want to make sure you feel untroubled and completely comfortable with the next steps throughout your entire journey. Book an appointment today.
We strive to establish rapport and trust to help you feel completely confident on your smile transformation journey.

Dr. Sabrina Escuza
Dr. Sabrina Escuza takes great pride in providing a calm environment where patients feel safe to express their needs, and comfortable to ask questions. Empowering you to take control of your oral health journey is her number one priority. She will thoroughly explain your conditions, how they came to be, and what treatment options are available to meet your health or aesthetic goals. Each patient is unique, and she will strategically tie all the aspects of dentistry into an individual journey that will work best for you. It doesn’t matter if it’s a check up, or a complete change that you’re seeking – she will look after you.
Florida, USA is where home is for Dr. Sabrina. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Florida (Go Gators!), and her Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Melbourne, where she graduated with honours and an achievement award from the prestigious Delta Sigma Delta dental fraternity. Eight years of uni has made her addicted to education – she is fluent in Spanish, has studied philosophy and French, and now spends her free time learning about the most modern dental treatment modalities through continued professional development courses.
Dr. Sabrina finds great joy in the intersections of dentistry – healthcare and artistry, function/aesthetics and mental health, communication and comfort. She is meticulous with the design of a smile, considering everything from the physics of your bite to the color of the porcelain. One of her favorite areas is where surgery meets prosthetics – sometimes losing a very broken down tooth means creating a healthy space for a beautiful replacement that will get you eating without pain and smiling without shame.
Apart from dentistry, Sabrina (not so) secretly thinks she is a master chef, and can be found trying to feed her friends the excessive amount of food she cooks. She loves music, a good picnic in the sun, and her dog, Nile.
