A dental check-up is a service offered by dental professionals to help ensure the overall health of your teeth and gums. These check-ups usually involve a physical examination of your mouth, as well as cleaning of your teeth.

We can’t emphasise enough how important it is to regularly visit your dentist. Having your teeth looked at by professionals is so important to your oral health and your overall wellbeing. Check-ups give your dentist the opportunity to identify any problems that may be brewing in their early stages, preventing any further, more complicated treatments down the line. A lack of proper care for your teeth can lead to issues such as gum disease, bad breath, and loss of teeth.
Catching these problems in their early stages allows you to wear your smile with confidence every day. These routine check-ups are vital for maintaining healthy teeth and gums.

Most dental professionals recommend that you have a check-up at least twice a year, or every six months. However, this may vary depending on your individual circumstances. For example, if you have good oral hygiene habits and do not have any existing dental problems, you may be able to go longer between appointments. On the other hand, if you have gum disease or are at a high risk for cavities, your dentist may recommend more frequent visits. ultimately, the best way to determine how often you should have a dental check-up is to talk to your dentist or dental hygienist. They will be able to assess your individual needs and make a recommendation based on your unique situation.
Professional dental teeth cleaning, also called prophylaxis, is a routine preventive measure that should be done every six months. The purpose of prophylaxis is to remove plaque and tartar that can build up on teeth over time. Plaque is a sticky film of food debris, bacteria, and saliva. If plaque is not removed, it can harden into tartar, which is much more difficult to remove. tartar can lead to gum disease, tooth decay, and bad breath. In addition to causing oral health problems, plaque and tartar can also make teeth appear yellow and dull. Professional dental teeth cleaning can help to remove these deposits and leave teeth looking clean and bright. In addition to professional cleaning, it is important to brush and floss regularly at home in order to prevent plaque and tartar buildup.

By avoiding regula. check-ups and teeth cleaning, certain dental problems may arise that otherwise wouldn’t have if regular check-ups were conducted.

A dental checkup is an important part of maintaining good oral health. During a typical checkup, the dentist will clean your teeth and remove any plaque or tartar buildup. They will also examine your teeth and gums for any signs of tooth decay or gum disease.
If necessary, they may take X-rays to get a closer look at your teeth. In addition, the dentist may discuss your diet and brushing habits with you and offer advice on how to improve your oral health. A dental checkup is a simple and effective way to keep your smile looking its best.
A dental check-up is a vital part of maintaining good oral health. During a check-up, the dentist will closely examine your teeth and gums for any signs of disease or decay. They will also check for any signs of wear and tear, which can be caused by grinding your teeth or using tobacco products. In addition, the dentist will take X-rays to check for any hidden problems, such as tooth decay or gum disease. Once the examination is complete, the dentist will clean your teeth and remove any plaque or tartar that has built up. They may also floss your teeth and apply fluoride to help prevent cavities. A dental check-up is an important part of keeping your mouth healthy, so be sure to schedule one with your dentist every six months.
Dental check-ups are an important part of maintaining good oral health, but sometimes problems can occur. If you experience any pain or discomfort during your appointment, be sure to let your dentist know right away. In most cases, the problem can be quickly resolved and you can continue with your appointment. However, if the problem is more serious, your dentist may need to refer you to a specialist or take other action. Either way, it is important to communicate any problems that you experience during your dental check-up so that your dentist can provide the best possible care.
A professional teeth cleaning is an important part of maintaining good oral health. During a cleaning, a dentist or hygienist will remove plaque and tartar from the teeth. Plaque is a sticky film of bacteria that forms on the teeth, and tartar is plaque that has hardened onto the surface of the teeth. The dentist or hygienist will also floss the teeth and polish them with a special toothpaste. In addition, they may take X-rays of the teeth to look for any problems that cannot be seen with the naked eye. A professional teeth cleaning is usually painless and only takes a few minutes. However, it is an essential part of keeping your teeth and gums healthy.
Many people dread going to the dentist, and the thought of having their teeth professionally cleaned can be enough to make them break out in a sweat. However, it is important to remember that dental professionals are trained to clean teeth gently and quickly, and the vast majority of patients report little to no discomfort during the procedure. In fact, many people find that their teeth feel cleaner and softer after a professional cleaning. If you are still worried about pain, be sure to let your dentist know so they can take extra care to ensure your comfort.
We strive to establish rapport and trust to help you feel completely confident on your smile transformation journey.

Dr. Sabrina Escuza
Dr. Sabrina Escuza takes great pride in providing a calm environment where patients feel safe to express their needs, and comfortable to ask questions. Empowering you to take control of your oral health journey is her number one priority. She will thoroughly explain your conditions, how they came to be, and what treatment options are available to meet your health or aesthetic goals. Each patient is unique, and she will strategically tie all the aspects of dentistry into an individual journey that will work best for you. It doesn’t matter if it’s a check up, or a complete change that you’re seeking – she will look after you.
Florida, USA is where home is for Dr. Sabrina. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Florida (Go Gators!), and her Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Melbourne, where she graduated with honours and an achievement award from the prestigious Delta Sigma Delta dental fraternity. Eight years of uni has made her addicted to education – she is fluent in Spanish, has studied philosophy and French, and now spends her free time learning about the most modern dental treatment modalities through continued professional development courses.
Dr. Sabrina finds great joy in the intersections of dentistry – healthcare and artistry, function/aesthetics and mental health, communication and comfort. She is meticulous with the design of a smile, considering everything from the physics of your bite to the color of the porcelain. One of her favorite areas is where surgery meets prosthetics – sometimes losing a very broken down tooth means creating a healthy space for a beautiful replacement that will get you eating without pain and smiling without shame.
Apart from dentistry, Sabrina (not so) secretly thinks she is a master chef, and can be found trying to feed her friends the excessive amount of food she cooks. She loves music, a good picnic in the sun, and her dog, Nile.
