Most dental clinics recommend that patients visit at least twice a year for a routine cleaning and check-up. However, some patients may need to visit more often depending on their individual needs. For example, patients who are at risk for gum disease may need to visit more often for deep cleanings.
Patients who have braces or other dental appliances may also need to visit more frequently for adjustments. Ultimately, the best way to determine how often you should visit the dental clinic is to talk to your dentist or hygienist. They will be able to assess your individual needs and make recommendations based on your specific situation.
Dental anxiety is a very common fear and one that our team at Studio Smiles encounters regularly. We understand that the thought of dental work can be daunting, and we take care to ensure that every patient feels comfortable and relaxed during their visit.
There are a number of ways to overcome dental anxiety, and our team will work with you to find the best solution for your needs. For some patients, listening to music or watching TV during their treatment can help to distract them from the procedure.
Others may prefer to use relaxation techniques such as deep breathing or visualisation. In addition, many patients find that sedation and sleep dentistry can help to ease their fears and allow them to receive the dental care they need. Our team will be happy to discuss all of these options with you in order to help you find the best solution for your needs.
We offer a wide range of dental services to meet the needs of our patients. These include routine cleanings and exams, fillings and extractions, crowns and bridges, veneers and teeth whitening.
We also offer more specialised services such as dental implants and orthodontics. Whatever your dental needs may be, we are here to help. We take a personal interest in each of our patients and work hard to ensure that they receive the best possible care.

When it comes to finding a good dentist in Highett, there are a few things you can do to make sure you find the right one for you. First of all, it’s important to ask around and get recommendations from people you trust.
Once you’ve got a few names, take the time to read online reviews and see what other patients have said about their experiences. It’s also a good idea to call up the dental clinics and ask questions about their services, fees, and policies.
Once you’ve gathered all this information, you’ll be in a much better position to make a decision about which dentist is right for you.
To schedule your next check-up at Studio Smiles, simply call our office or book an appointment online. Our friendly staff will be happy to help you select a date and time that works for you. We recommend that patients schedule their check-ups every six months, but we are also happy to accommodate special requests.
The cost of dental care in Highett can vary widely depending on the type of treatment you need. For example, routine cleaning and check-up will typically cost between $50 and $200. However, if you need more extensive work such as a root canal or tooth extraction, the price can increase significantly. In general, it is important to shop around and compare prices before choosing a dentist. Additionally, many dentists offer discounts for seniors, students, and families. As a result, it is possible to find quality dental care at a price that fits your budget.

Dr. Daniel is a leading member of the following organisations:
Dr Poli Gunaridis

Since graduating from the University of Queensland, Dr Poli Gunaridis has pursued advanced training in dental implant and reconstructive surgery. After many years in the field, Dr Poli has become a leading expert in surgical extractions, dental implants, bone grafting, and all-on-4.
With an abundance of knowledge to share, Dr Poli has given both local and international lectures to other aspiring dentists on the topics of implants and graft procedures. This is something he is truly passionate about.

Dr. Sabrina Escuza
Dr. Sabrina Escuza takes great pride in providing a calm environment where patients feel safe to express their needs, and comfortable to ask questions. Empowering you to take control of your oral health journey is her number one priority. She will thoroughly explain your conditions, how they came to be, and what treatment options are available to meet your health or aesthetic goals. Each patient is unique, and she will strategically tie all the aspects of dentistry into an individual journey that will work best for you. It doesn’t matter if it’s a check up, or a complete change that you’re seeking – she will look after you.
Florida, USA is where home is for Dr. Sabrina. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Florida (Go Gators!), and her Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Melbourne, where she graduated with honours and an achievement award from the prestigious Delta Sigma Delta dental fraternity. Eight years of uni has made her addicted to education – she is fluent in Spanish, has studied philosophy and French, and now spends her free time learning about the most modern dental treatment modalities through continued professional development courses.
Dr. Sabrina finds great joy in the intersections of dentistry – healthcare and artistry, function/aesthetics and mental health, communication and comfort. She is meticulous with the design of a smile, considering everything from the physics of your bite to the color of the porcelain. One of her favorite areas is where surgery meets prosthetics – sometimes losing a very broken down tooth means creating a healthy space for a beautiful replacement that will get you eating without pain and smiling without shame.
Apart from dentistry, Sabrina (not so) secretly thinks she is a master chef, and can be found trying to feed her friends the excessive amount of food she cooks. She loves music, a good picnic in the sun, and her dog, Nile.
